- Match the engine code, not just the displacement. A 3.5L V6 could be the 2GR-FE port-injected unit or the 2GR-FKS dual-injection variant. The 8th VIN digit identifies the exact code.
- For 2AZ-FE 2.4L units, ask about head bolt history. Many 2AZ-FE engines from 2007-2010 have known head bolt thread wear. We test these specifically and disclose status.
