2GR-FE / 2GR-FSE 3.5L V6

RX350 (2007–2015), ES350 (2007–2018), IS350, GS350 (2006–2016). Our deepest Lexus line — the port-injected 2GR-FE in the transverse RX and ES and the D-4S dual-injection 2GR-FSE in the rear-drive IS and GS. Same block, different heads and fuel systems; the listings carry the code.

2GR-FKS 3.5L V6 D-4S

RX350 (2016+), IS350 and GS350 (2017+), ES350 (2019+), RC350. The current 3.5 with D-4S injection and VVT-iW — it replaced both the FE and the FSE and does not swap back into the earlier cars without the matching harness and ECU.

2GR-FXE 3.5L V6 Hybrid

RX450h (2010+), GS450h (2013+), NX and RX hybrids. The Atkinson-cycle 3.5 built for the hybrid transaxle — different pistons, cam timing and no belt-driven accessories, so it is not a substitute for the RX350 engine.

1UR-FSE / 1UR-FE 4.6L and 3UR-FE 5.7L V8

LS460 (2007–2017), GS460, GX460 (2010+), LX570 (2008–2021). The UR-series V8s — the D-4S 1UR-FSE in the LS, the port-injected 1UR-FE in the GX, and the 5.7 3UR-FE in the LX and its Tundra and Sequoia donors. Listed by code because the FSE and FE do not interchange.

1UZ-FE 4.0L / 3UZ-FE 4.3L / 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8

LS400, SC400, GS400 (1990–2000), LS430, GS430, SC430 (2001–2010), GX470, LX470 (1998–2009). The UZ-series V8s — the 4.0 in three generations (non-VVT and VVT-i are listed separately), the 4.3 that replaced it, and the 4.7 truck engine shared with the Land Cruiser and Tundra.

2UR-GSE 5.0L V8 (F Performance)

IS F (2008–2014), RC F and GS F (2015+), LC500, LS500 5.0 (2018+). The high-revving D-4S 5.0 V8 of the F cars — the IS F unit, the RC F and GS F unit and the LC500 unit carry different heads, intakes and VIN codes.

1MZ-FE 3.0L / 3MZ-FE 3.3L V6

ES300, RX300 (1994–2003), ES330, RX330, RX400h (2004–2006). The transverse V6 of the first RX and ES generations — the 1MZ is listed by VVT-i and non-VVT-i because the heads differ, and the 3.3 3MZ shares the block but not the bore.

8AR-FTS 2.0L Turbo Inline-4

NX200t and NX300 (2015–2021), IS200t and IS300 (2016+), RC200t, GS200t. The twin-scroll turbo 2.0 — the same engine across the badge change from 200t to 300, listed by year and VIN code.

2AR-FXE / A25A-FXS 2.5L Hybrid Inline-4

ES300h (2013–2018), NX300h (2015–2021), ES300h and UX250h (2019+). The Atkinson-cycle 2.5 — the 2AR-FXE of the first hybrid ES and NX and the Dynamic Force A25A-FXS that replaced it, which are different engines with different transaxles.
