The hybrid Tundra and Sequoia still use the ten-speed automatic, but Prius, Sienna, Venza, the Corolla Cross Hybrid and the Grand Highlander Hybrid use an eCVT transaxle with the motor-generators inside the case. A hybrid transaxle will not bolt to a gasoline engine.
  3. Confirm 2WD against 4WD or AWD. A750E against A750F on the 4Runner, UA80E against UA80F on the Grand Highlander, AA80E against AA80F on the Tundra — in each pair the drive layout, not the engine, decides which case fits. This is the single most common mismatch we see on Toyota trucks and SUVs.
