  1. The 3.5L V6 is two completely different engines. Turbocharged EcoBoost units are VIN G on the F-150 and Transit and VIN T on the Taurus SHO, Flex, Explorer Sport, Expedition and Police cars. The naturally aspirated Cyclone is VIN 8. They do not interchange.
  2. The oil-cooler split matters on 3.5L and 3.7L cars. Taurus, Flex, Explorer, Edge and the Police cars are each listed with and without an engine oil cooler, and Police Package units carry it as standard.
  3. On the Super Duty, pick the fuel first. The 6.7L Power Stroke diesel is listed as Pickup or Chassis Cab on the F-350. The 6.2L Boss gas V8 is listed as Gasoline, CNG or LPG — CNG and LPG-prep units carry different valves and seats.
  4. Transit and E-350 are not the same van any more. 2015 Transit listings are 3.5L EcoBoost, 3.7L Cyclone (gas or CNG) and 3.2L Power Stroke diesel. The E-350 alongside it is 5.4L Triton V8 or 6.8L Triton V10 in gas, E85, CNG and LPG builds.
