1. Confirm the exact transmission tag. Volvo uses ID tags on the case to identify the precise variant. The same model year vehicle can ship with multiple transmission options.
2. FWD and AWD versions are not interchangeable. Even if the case looks similar, output shaft geometry and final drive differ. Always specify your drivetrain.
